Lisette LUgo
Lisette Lugo was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay, California. As a child she was surrounded by Civil Engineering and mathematic calculations being the daughter of a great inventor. Lisette first professional education was the Academy of Art University, graduating with a degree in Illustration. She became an Editorial Illustrator for Magazines and News Papers eventually focusing on her own fine art and teaching, which included Alzheimer’s, Autism, and juvenile hall. Directed painting for brain stimulation, producing results for people with mental disabilities such as Autism Spectrum and Alzheimer throughout the Bay Area, SF Towers Sunrise Senior Living, and the Russell Bede School.
Worked as a Therapist for the arts for 4 years for Art Without Boundaries in the local Bay Area;
Some schools included Central Middle School, Castilleja High School, Red Mountain College, Academy of Art, National Endowment for Women in Art, Art Safari, Create Mix and Mingle, Team Building for Businesses and Corporations such as Electronic Arts, the Gap, Oracle, Gilead.
Graduated with a BA in Interdisciplinary Studies from the California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco, CA in 2013,followed by a Masters of Fine Arts in Creative Inquiry Program in 2015.
Lisette is currently teaching art at a private school for classical education in Florida.
